The great Greek philosopher has rightly indicated "Through discipline comes freedom." We firmly believe that true character is forged only through discipline. It is the foundation of all education and success. Every student of Bishop Hartmann Academy is expected to uphold discipline in: Punctuality, neatness in dress and personal appearance, respectful behaviour, reverence for elders, compassion for the poor and needy, and a strong cooperative spirit. We maintain a zero-tolerance policy towards actions that harm the moral tone of the school. Repeated misbehaviour, irregular attendance, insubordination, bad conduct, lack of interest in studies, repeated failures, and any behaviour detrimental to the institution are sufficient grounds, individually or collectively, for expulsion. We seek the full cooperation of parents and guardians in ensuring regular attendance and punctuality. Periodical progress reports will be sent home - they must be duly signed and returned. Students suffering from contagious diseases may be suspended or removed in the interest of all. To correct and guide, the school may also impose suitable corrective measures, including fines, on erring students.
